Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo is the main international gateway. The airport is approximately 115 km from Kandy (3–3.5 hours by road).
Direct flights operate from major Asian hubs including Singapore, Dubai, Delhi, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. SriLankan Airlines is the national carrier with connections worldwide.
Pre-arranged transfers available via the registration portal (LKR 12,000). Alternatively, take an Uber or taxi (~LKR 10,000–15,000) or the scenic train from Colombo Fort (3–4 hours).
Most nationalities require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka. The ETA is valid for 30 days and can be extended.
